BUNBURY

40 Mins from Busselton. The biggest city in the southwest (port included). Host to the Bunbury Dolphin Discovery and Bunbury Wildlife Centre. Here you can also find Wydalup rock, a place of great aboriginal sigificance.

Just over 1 hr from Busselton. Near both Collie River and Harris River surrounded by jarrah forests. Coalfields, mural trials, with the Wellington National Park and the Wellington Dam just around the corner. Swimming, fishing, boating, take your pick. HARVEY

1hr from Busselton, Harvey has the iconic orange, a dams, scenic walks and marks the start of the Southwest. Try out the produce, picnic at one of the dams, Water ski at Logue Brook Dam or Lake Brockman or try your luck for trout or marron (permit required).

DARDANUP / FERGUSON VALLEY

1hr from Busselton. Balinup, the place of the warrior 'Balingan' is surrounded by rolling hills and lush farmland Balingup is known for its Farm Field day and Medieval Carnival and town scarecrows. The Golden Valley Tree Park just out of town is an absolute must!

CAPEL

Just 20mins from Busselton and located on the Capel River. Cool off at Peppermint Grove Beach, camp at Iron Gully Falls or try fishing, crabbing (in season) or prawning. The climate here makes it perfect for growing a wide range of fresh produce.

DONNYBROOK / BALINGUP

40mins-1hr from Busselton. Donnybrook has abundance of fresh fruit and produce available from farm stalls along the highway, especially apples! Check out the blossoms in Spring. It also has Australia's biggest free entry playground. Balingup, the place of the warrior 'Balingan' is surrounded by rolling hills and lush farmland. The Golden Valley Tree Park, just out of town is an absolute must!
