BUSSELTON
Named after its founder John Garret Bussell. Busselton is the center of it all! It hosts the iconic 2km, 19th century jetty with underwater observatory. But seek and you find in Busselton. There are also reserves, pristine beaches, bird hydes, museums and heritage houses.
Just over 20mins from Busselton. With its pristine foreshore and flats Dunsborough is a great place for a relaxing day at the beach. The bay is extremely calm. Equip with two boat ramps, a ice-creamery and beautiful lookouts.
30 Mins from Busselton, Yallingup has it all. Caves, wineries, breweries, beaches, a waterfall and a natural spa. The beaches include well know surfing spots and protected alcoves.
40mins from Busselton. Beaches, world famous surfbreaks, wineries, caves. The town is named after the river which is thought to be named after Margaret Whicher, cousin of John Garrett Bussell (founder of Busselton).
Just over an hour from Busselton. Blackwood river flows into Flinders Bay. Augusta is at the Cape Leeuwin point, hosting one of the two lighthouses in the southwest. Stingrays at Hamelin Bay, blowholes at Cosy Beach
40 Mins from Busselton. Great area to go camping and disconnect. The blackwood river runs through this area so also you can cool off here when the beaches are busy, Please note most camp sites require online booking and reception is often not great.
40mins from Busselton. A beautiful headland in the southwest region. Full of protected beaches. There are lots of places to explore. Castle Rock, Sugarloaf Rock, spectacular lookouts and even a light house. Cape Naturaliste has something for everyone
Just over 30mins from Busselton. This area contains a bucket list must, Quinninup Falls. Wilyabrup comes from the noonagar word 'Worlybarup' meaning 'northern sky'.
About an hour from Busselton. This area is picturesque with its towering karri forest, the drive alone is worth it. Coastal dunes, beautiful beaches caves and cliffs.
